Many people, like my ignorant self, are hearing about this legislative process for the first time, in the context of the Democrats threatening to pass health care reform with less than 60 votes in the Senate, and the Republicans complaining about abuse of power. So far I like this, but it ultimately depends on what kind of health care reform gets passed. My going prediction is that it will be “better.”
